Works Well with Others

Defined:

Our ability to work well with others I based on a lot of different things. Some qualities that are important when trying to work well with others is: patience, respect, compassion, understanding, communication skills, leadership ect.

Reflections:

The ability to work well with others is something that we get better at over time. At first it is hard to know how to properly communicate with people when you are in an unfamiliar situation, but I have found it easier overtime. Many different opportunities have strengthened my ability to work well with others no matter where they come from or who they are.

Some of my past experiences are pictured below; these pictures show groups that I have been placed in and people that I have had to work with in the past. Most of the photos below are pictures of me on my mission trip to Daytona Beach, FL the summer before my freshmen year of college. I had the opportunity to serve at a food bank, thrift store, kids camp, and the rebuilding of homes. These pictures show how I was able work with people who lived all over the country, and through the ability to work well with others I grew through my relationships.

The other two group photos were from my retreats that I went on this summer prior to attending my freshmen year at Texas A&M University. One was my small group from Impact and the other was my group from fish camp, these two camps forced me to work with others and form friendships with people that I otherwise never would have known. Those two opportunites forced me out of my comfort zone and helped me to form close bonds with other members of my freshmen class.
